Owner, Nikki Gnozzio
Nikki Gnozzio, owner of the Junction Bodyworks, LLC, is a well established personal trainer, experienced strength & conditioning coach as well as an accomplished athlete. Nikki graduated from Ohio University with undergraduate degrees in Sports Management, Business (with certification in sales) and a masters degree in Coaching Education. As a Division I collegiate athlete for Ohio University (nationally ranked), she was chosen as a starter for every game of her four-year career. Accolades during this time also included All MAC, first-team honors as well as NSCA All American Strength & Conditioning Athlete of the Year. After college, she became a Division 1 Strength & Conditioning Coach for Providence College in Rhode Island. Providence College provided three years of experience with training highly competitive athletes competing in 16 different sports. Motivated by her desire to continue to learn, Nikki also elected to train and compete in Olympic Style Weight Lifting while coaching at PC. This undertaking provided valuable, firsthand knowledge that enabled her to understand how to better teach such complicated movements.
After deciding to return to her home state of New Jersey, she began exploring her interests in the field of
personal training while also serving as a part-time Strength & Conditioning Coach for two local colleges, Stevens Institute of Technology and NJIT. She also served (and is currently still serving) as an assistant field hockey coach for Kent Place School, a local and private high school in Summit, NJ. Some of her most recent endeavors included becoming a licensed massage therapist as well as competing in the Czech Republic on the USA Women’s National Ball Hockey team where the team returned home as a recipients of silver medals.
Trainer, Patrick Duncan
When I chose to study Health & Wellness, I quickly discovered that physical fitness was the weakest link in my studies. Since then, I have turned it into my greatest asset by becoming a certified personal trainer, managing the Personal Training team at The University of West Georgia for two years, actively training clients for the past six years, and regularly competing in strength sports.
Specialties: Strongman (Heavy, functional movements delivering maximum effort within a short timeframe) and Powerlifting (Lifting the heaviest weight possible throughout three lifts.)Weight loss. General athletics.
Fun Facts: I am bilingual, speaking English and German, and just a bit of many other languages. I used to own a business as a magician. I hold active certification in Project Management.
