Knowledgeable Training Expertise

 Owner, Nikki Gnozzio

Nikki Gnozzio, owner of the Junction Bodyworks, LLC, is a well established personal trainer, experienced strength & conditioning coach as well as an accomplished athlete. Nikki graduated from Ohio University with undergraduate degrees in Sports Management, Business (with certification in sales) and a masters degree in Coaching Education. As a Division I collegiate athlete for Ohio University (nationally ranked), she was chosen as a starter for every game of her four-year career. Accolades during this time also included All MAC, first-team honors as well as NSCA All American Strength & Conditioning Athlete of the Year. After college, she became a Division 1 Strength & Conditioning Coach for Providence College in Rhode Island. Providence College provided three years of experience with training highly competitive athletes competing in 16 different sports. Motivated by her desire to continue to learn, Nikki also elected to train and compete in Olympic Style Weight Lifting while coaching at PC. This undertaking provided valuable, firsthand knowledge that enabled her to understand how to better teach such complicated movements.

After deciding to return to her home state of New Jersey, she began exploring her interests in the field of

personal training while also serving as a part-time Strength & Conditioning Coach for two local colleges, Stevens Institute of Technology and NJIT. She also served (and is currently still serving) as an assistant field hockey coach for Kent Place School, a local and private high school in Summit, NJ. Some of her most recent endeavors included becoming a licensed massage therapist as well as competing in the Czech Republic on the USA Women’s National Ball Hockey team where the team returned home as a recipients of silver medals.

Trainer, Nick Boyle

Nick Boyle, personal trainer at The Junction Bodyworks, graduated from Rowan University with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science, having a specialization in health promotion and wellness management. He was a starter at left tackle for three years for Dover high school football, earning first team all-county honors as well as being named a National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Scholar Athlete his senior year. He went on to play for Rowan University, a Division III football team ranked top 10 in the nation at the time.

Through studying exercise science, Nick worked as a trainer for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, giving them an opportunity to get exercise safely while also having fun. This provided him with hands on experience training people with limitations while ensuring they’re safe. It also allowed him to give back to his community, offering his clients a fun experience that was essential to the betterment of their health.

Nick is a certified personal trainer through The American College of Sports Medicine as well as a certified blood pressure screener. After leaving college, he worked as a personal trainer as well as a manager of a personal training department at a Retro Fitness in Roxbury, NJ, providing experience in sales and customer service.
